Race Start Time: 10:00 am (EST) 5K, 10:03 am Five Mile – Separate start times- pay attention

DESCRIPTION

Join us for the Annual Frosty Five Run which includes a choice of a 5 Mile option as well as a 5K.

The Five Mile course has the 1.9 mile extra portion at the front end of the run so that once you are on the path with the 5Kers, there are no other deviations. Enjoy the scenic course that starts at Studebaker Park Pavilion and follows the River Greenway Trail along the Elkhart River.

The accessible path is now paved so that it can be used all year long.

This race marks the half way point of winter! And whatever the weather, it won’t feel as cold when you are in a group! It’s been warm, it’s been frigid, you just never know. Last year, the path was completely clear, sunshine…it just doesn’t get any better!

As we all know, the weather conditions can change dramatically. We will be posting updates to the Facebook page closer to the event with photos of the trail conditions.

TIMING

RFID timing for the race by Watts My Time. Results will be pushed to RunSignUp asap. You can also opt in on RunSignUp when you sign up to have results pushed to your phone.

AWARDS

Finisher prizes for all participants this year.

Top Three M/F both distances will get a special custom award. 15 standard age groups in both distances will get medals, three deep.

The awards ceremony for the top three male/femal in the 5K and 5 Mile will happen as soon as possible. For your convenience, age group awards will be self-serve inside the tent. [ You will get your finisher sticker from the timer, or show your results on your phone, and you can pick up your medal if you placed in the top three places.]
