8:15 am Gather outside where you can see and hear Monster Message for announcements!

8:15 am Line up on Jackson Blvd- spread out by pace group and race- Yellow signs
8:30 am 10K ONLY start
8:34 am “Turkey rabbit” is released and gets a head start
8:35 am 5K RUN start – spread out by pace group- you will follow green signs
8:40 am 5K Walk starts (as soon as the runners are on their way)
8:45 am One Mile Walk- follow Gobbles and Holly and pink signs

PRICING
10K and 5K include timed entries, Mile walk is not timed. Long sleeve shirts are optional and an additional $15. New in 2025: You can have your choice of Performance fabric or a cotton blended shirt!

VENUE
Elkhart Health & Aquatics, 200 East Jackson in 2025 is our home base! It is a perfect venue for us to do registration. With construction going on, we are looking to modify our start line and will keep you posted once finalized.
We will have a chip start, which means your official time does not begin until you cross the timing mat. With a crowd this size, this can take several minutes. Therefore, your “chip time” begins when you cross the mat, not when the “gun” goes off [which is called a “gun start”.]
Note: The race is started by a countdown on the big screen- we don’t actually use a starter pistol for this event!
We encourage people to spread out and allow the faster runners towards the front of the line. We will have pace signs, and if you start with your pace, this will help a great deal with crowd control!
AWARDS
Every participant gets a finisher medal at the end of the race. Simply go through the finisher chute and keep moving to the refreshment area. If you did not get an award for 2024, we have plenty left, so you can pick one up at registration this year.
NOTE: There is NO official awards ceremony, because we know everyone wants to get back home to their day. There are no age group awards, just the finisher medals. However for those in the 10K and 5K, there are gravy boats for the top three male and female finishers. Results are posted on the jumbotron Monster Message trucks and are updated every few minutes. You can opt in for getting your finish times texted to your phone.
CATCH THE TURKEY
$25 cash for the first male and female to “Catch the Turkey” in the 5K. [Not a real turkey, there is a person dressed up who will get a head start. This is on the honor system. Please don’t touch our turkey rabbit, Francis, just pass them.]
VOLUNTEERS
Yes. We need volunteers! You can volunteer AND run on the day!

RESULTS
For those in the 10K and 5K, your results will appear immediately on the Monster Message at the race. Our timer, Epic Race Timing is connected to the Monster Message display at the start. It might take a few minutes to cycle through. You can also opt in for text results. Following the race, the results will also be on the following sites. The link will also be on FB.
